Supporting Black Health Equity: Health disparities between whites and blacks in the United States are evident. Blacks have higher rates of diabetes, heart diseases, and hypertension. Black children have a 500% higher death rate from asthma than white kids.
The difference in living standard, education, housing, employment, food, and other factors play a vital role in determining the quality of health. And that’s why we are vocal in our support for improving the lives of the black community for them to have healthy and safe lives. We actively campaign to end discrimination in the quality of healthcare provided to blacks, including the limitations to access and use of quality healthcare and job opportunities in the healthcare sector.
We focus on the underlying cause of health inequality, including limited access to healthcare, discrimination in socio-economic policies, and lack of resources. We strongly believe in quality healthcare for everyone and are working tirelessly to achieve that!
